Marfin Investment Group announces that Mr. George Koulouris assumes the position of Head of Corporate Development of the Group. In his new role, Mr. Koulouris will be responsible for monitoring and developing the strategy of MIG and for examining new potential acquisitions and investment opportunities for the Group.
Mr. Koulouris has more than 10 years of experience in international investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, while he was recently Head of International Investment Banking at Marfin Popular Bank. Prior to that, he held positions with financial organisations such as UBS, CSFB and Deutsche Bank. Mr Koulouris holds an MBA from INSEAD and a bachelors degree in Economics from Queen Mary, University of London.
In addition, the Corporate Development department will be joining Messrs Theodoros Giatrakos, Jeeho Park and Milan Stojanovic, until recently all members of the International Investment Banking team of Marfin Popular Bank. Mr Giatrakos has previously worked at Deutsche Bank, holds a masters degree in Finance from Imperial College London and a bachelors degree in Economics from the London School of Economics, University of London. Mr Park has previously worked at Deutsche Bank and HSBC and holds a bachelors degree in Political Science from Georgetown University, while he also recently assumed the position of Director of Investor Relations of MIG. Finally, Mr. Stojanovic has previously worked at Bear Stearns, holds an MBA from the California State East Bay University and a bachelors degree in International Business from the European School of Business in Reutlingen, Germany.
