TRASTOR REIC (formerly Piraeus REIC) announces that Mr. Kyriacos Evangelou will assume the responsibilities of General Manager of the company from 15th July 2009. Also, at an upcoming Board of Directors meeting of the company Mr. Evangelou will be elected as Managing Director.
Mr. Evangelou has been involved in a professional capacity with the real estate business for over 18 years, and has significant experience in real estate investment, development and finance. Currently he is General Manager of Emporiki Real Estate, a subsidiary of Emporiki Bank. Between 2004 and 2008 he was General Manager of the Greek Branch of the German bank Eurohypo AG, specializing in financing large scale real estate projects.
Between 1999 and 2004 he worked for the Piraeus Bank group, as Commercial Manager of Piraeus Real Estate, and previously he worked for Athens International Airport S.A. in the Real Estate Development Division, and with DTZ in Greece and the UK as a real estate consultant. He has a BSc in Real Estate Management from Westminster University in London, and an MSc in Property Investment from City University Business School. He is also a member of the RICS.
