Pursuant to the provisions of L.3556/2007, Piraeus Bank notifies investors that on the 24rd of April 2009 the percentage of voting rights attached to shares of its issuance which may be exercised by proxy holder (Mrs Kyriaki Fragalexi) during the Ordinary General Meeting of Piraeus Bank of 30/04/2009, amounted to 11,47379% of the total number of voting rights of the Bank, namely 37.811.177 voting rights. The threshold crossed by the person subject to the notification obligation is 10%.
The voting rights attached to shares prior the triggering transaction are as following: The total number of shares was 25.920, the total number of voting rights was 26.730.452 and the total percentage of the voting rights was 8,11135%.
The voting rights attached to shares following the triggering transaction are as following: The total number of shares amounts to 25.920 (directly), the total number of voting rights amounts to 25.920 (directly) and 37.785.257 (indirectly) and the total percentage of the voting rights amounts to 0,00786% (directly) and 11,46593% (indirectly).
Mrs. Kyriaki Fragalexi will discontinue possessing 37.785.257 voting rights on 01.05.2009.
The aforesaid 37.785.257 voting rights which the obligor may exercise in his capacity as proxy during the Ordinary General Meeting of 30.04.2009 are identical to the voting rights held by the obligor Mr. Georgios Liakopoulos, given that they can be exercised separately by either of the two obligors.
