Forthnet SA announces in accordance with the Law 3556/2007 (art.9, 14 and 21) in combination with the resolution No. 1/434/03.07.2007 of the HCMC and Circular Document no 33 of the HCMC that Emirates International Telecommunications LLC (EITL) has notified Forthnet S.Α. on the 13th of July 2009 of the change of its indirect participation in the share capital of Forthnet from 33.89% to approximately 37.1013% corresponding to 57,667,084 voting rights and equal number of shares out of the total of 155,431,324.
The said change took place on the 7th of July 2009. The Notification has been made due to the crossing of the threshold of 3% of the total issued share capital of Forthnet (art.9 par. 4, L.3556/2007), as a result of the indirect acquisition by Emirates International Telecommunications LLC, through the direct shareholder in Forthnet, Forgendo Ltd, of shares with voting rights.
Emirates International Telecommunications LLC, also notified that on the 7th July 2009 indirectly held 57,367,084 voting rights in Forthnet (i.e. 36.9083% of the total voting rights in Forthnet). However, on the 10th of July 2009 an additional 300,000 shares were purchased, as a result of which transaction EITL reached a total of 57,667,084 voting rights (i.e. 37.1013% of the total voting rights in Forthnet).
Finally, Emirates International Telecommunications LLC issued the above notification also on behalf of its intervening subsidiaries Emirates International Telecommunications (Malta) Limited ("EIML") and Forgendo Ltd.
