The annual General Shareholders' Meeting of "HELLENIC FABRICS S.A." was held on Thursday, May 14th 2009, with the participation of 63,54% of the company's share capital.
There was a unanimous approval of the Company's Annual Financial Statements in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards, for the fiscal year 01.01-31.12.2008, as well as of the Board of Directors' and the Auditors' Reports for the same period.
The Management of the company referred to the company's course during 2008, the efficiency improvement projects which are taking place, as well as to the development plans in a constantly intensifying competitive environment with unfavorable economic conditions.
Finally, a new Board of Directors was elected, for a 5-year service, due to the end of the previous Board's term, which consists of Messrs Christos Accas, Michael Colakides, John Accas, Narkissos Georgiadis, George Accas and Rigas Tzelepoglou.
