According to decision No 3/347/12.07.05 made by the BoD of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, Emporiki Bank of Greece S.A. announces that Standard & Poor s Rating Services, by its Report dated May 4, 2009, lowered to "BBB" from "A-" its long-term counterparty credit rating on Emporiki Bank of Greece. By the same report, Standard & Poor s confirmed its "A-2" short-term rating on Emporiki Bank.
The outlook is considered "stable" by the Rating Agency from "negative" in its previous report (14 January, 2009).
