The Company announces that ,at the meeting of 12-5-2009, the BoD approved the agreement plan in relation to the purchase of the participation of 33,35 % of Minoan Lines S.A. in the company Hellenic Seaways S.A., for the price of 125.000.000 Euros, payable with partial payments until the end of 2012. The aforementioned agreement plan is subject to any and all of the usual terms and requirements for such transactions.
The BoD granted authorisation to members for the completion and signature of the agreement, which will take place within next days and will be subject to prior approval of such transaction by the Hellenic Competition Commission.
The Company will duly inform the investors on the signature of the final agreement, as per legislation in force.
