The investing public is informed that the Cyprus Stock Exchange announced the suspension of trading of the Convertible Bonds 2013/2018 under the code ΤΡΚΜΧ/ BCCB of Bank of Cyprus Public Company Ltd from Tuesday, June 2, 2009 to Monday, June 15, 2009 (inclusive) so as to ensure the proper operation of the market, the completion of the applications procedure and the exchange and final distribution of the new Convertible Capital Securities of Bank of Cyprus.
The trading of the Convertible Bonds will recommence on June 16, 2009.
This decision was taken pursuant to Article 183 of the CSE Law for the protection of investors, following the request of the advisors for the new Convertible Capital Securities issue of Bank of Cyprus.
It is noted that the trading of the Convertible Bonds 2013/2018 will also be suspended on the ASE.
