EUROMEDICA S.A explores the option of increasing its share capital by ? 100 million

Euromedica S.A. would like to inform its shareholders and investors that it is currently looking at the international investment community with its advisor, the international investment bank UBS, to see whether it could increase its share capital by euro 100 million. The purposes of this increase would be to further company growth and reduce its bank borrowing. If there are any developments on this issue, the Company will immediately inform both shareholders and investors.
The Euromedica Group currently operates in the healthcare sector with 80 medical units in Greece and 5 in Albania. The increase being considered by the Company would contribute to completion of its investment plan worth euro 270 million in total. The plan started in 2007 and is expected to be completed in 2013.
Moreover, the Company is engaged in discussions with creditor banks to examine how it could restructure its long-term liabilities of around euro 200 million.
In relation to the 2009 financial results, the Company turnover is estimated at euro 256 million compared to euro 229 million in 2008, and EBITDA is estimated at euro 47.5 million compared to euro 39.1 million in 2008. The annual increase in EBITDA which the Company expects to achieve over the next three years will be in the order of 15% to 20%.
