Announcement regarding Public Service Obligation routes
AEGEAN AIRLINES hereby announces that it had participated in the tender launched by the Hellenic Republic and submitted offers for the operation of scheduled air services in 11 routes in accordance with public service obligations for the period 1/4/2010 until 31/3/2012.
More specifically, AEGEAN submitted offers for the operation of the following routes:
Athens-Ikaria
Athens-Karpathos
Athens-Kithira
Athens-Sitia
Athens-Skiathos
Athens-Skyros
Thessaloniki-Kalamata
Thessaloniki-Corfu
Thessaloniki-Samos
Thessaloniki-Skyros
Thessaloniki-Chios
Seating capacity of aircraft to be deployed by AEGEAN on aforementioned routes is intended to be up to double the capacity outlined on the tender requirements. AEGEAN plans to service the routes granted from the tender process with the same reliability, stability and commitment that characterize its services over the last ten years and have contributed to being the largest airline carrier in Greece.
