The Management of "Babis Vovos International Constructions S.A." announces that the company:
A. By means of a letter sent to Ms. Tina Birbili, Minister of Environment, Energy and Climatic Change, copied to Mr. Nikitas Kakalamanis, Mayor of Athens and PAE Panathinaikos, undertook the responsibility, as well as the provision and the expenses, to create the necessary conditions in order to secure completely and independently the common use area and common use green area ratio in accordance to the decision of the Council of State (3059/2009).
B. Undertakes the obligation to construct a Car Parking Station of 1,500 parking spaces and to assign 500 parking spaces from the ones under construction at the shopping centre, which together with the parking spaces of the football stadium will secure the required number for its operation. In this way, the shortage of the 500 parking spaces that would have been constructed in the municipality's multi-purpose centre is covered.
The above mentioned commitments and assignments provide the opportunity for a new adjustment of the entire Joint Redevelopment within the boundaries of the decision issued by the Council of State and the continuation of the construction works of the shopping centre which were conducted in accordance to the provisions of Law 3481/2006, voted by 257 members of the Greek Parliament.
In the present times of financial crisis and unemployment, a development like that would lead not only to the realization of the most important environmental improvement of the city of Athens, Alexandras Ave. and Votanikos, but also to the reinstatement of more than 1,000 workers and the restoration of the trust in the laws of the State. In this way a positive trend for the security of investments will be created.
