European Medicines Agency awards Intrasoft International a 30 MEURO contract
Luxembourg, 19 October 2009 Intrasoft International, member of INTRACOM IT Services Group, via participating consortia, has been awarded a framework contract for IT services by The European Medicines Agency. The total value of the contract is euro 30 million, while Intrasoft's participation amounts to euro 12 m..
The London-based European Medicines Agency is responsible for the evaluation, supervision and pharmacovigilance of medicines, including those used to manage the recent global outbreak of influenza A(H1N1).
Over the next four years, Intrasoft International in cooperation with TRASYS and Fujitsu Services will be responsible for providing the European Medicines Agency with professional expertise to design, construct, implement and maintain IT systems and applications both on-site and off-site. The partners will also help the agency to maintain and further develop systems to support the European Medicines Regulatory Network, a group of authorities involved in the regulation of medicinal products, and part of EU Telematics' overarching strategy.
