Pursuant to paragraph 4.1.3.1 (xii) of the Athens Stock Exchange Regulation, "MARFIN INVESTMENT GROUP HOLDINGS SA" wishes to announce that on 10.11.2009 the ordinary tax audit of fiscal years 2006 and 2007 was completed. The audit in question ascertained the existence of differences in taxes and charges amounting in total to 4,631,351 euros, which will not encumber the results of fiscal year 2009, as the Company made a relevant provision in the previous fiscal years of 2006 and 2007. The above debt was duly paid to the Greek State.
