Offer submission for the Public Service Obligation routes

AEGEAN AIRLINES hereby announces that it had participated in the tender launched by the Hellenic Rebublic and submitted offer for the operation of scheduled air services in 17 routes in accordance with public service obligations. Relevant announcement, stating its intentions to participate in the tender was released on July 20 while in the meantime AEGEAN proceeded with the necessary operational preparation which included test flights to relevant destinations. More specifically, AEGEAN submitted offers for the operation of the following routes:
Athens-Astypalea
Athens-Ikaria
Athens-Kalymnos
Athens-Karpathos
Athens-Kithira
Athens-Sitia
Athens-Skiathos
Athens-Skyros
Aktion-Sitia
Alexandroupolis-Sitia
Tessaloniki-Kalamata
Thessaloniki-Corfu
Thessaloniki-Samos
Thessaloniki-Skyros
Thessaloniki-Chios
Corfu-Aktion-Kefalinia-Zakinthos
Limnos-Mitilini-Chios-Samos-Rhodes
The company plans to operate these routes with AVRO RJ 100 aircraft (112 seat capacity) and ATR 72-500 aircraft (68 seat capacity). The Company has recently added to its fleet 2 ATR 72-500 aircraft of the latest technology, produced in the second half of 2008.

AEGEAN plans to service the routes granted from the tender process with the same reliability, stability and commitment that characterize its services over the last ten years and have contributed to being the largest airline carrier in Greece in terms of passenger count.'
