PRESS RELEASE: New Export Achievement for INTRACOM Defense Electronics: Production of Self-Protection Systems for F-16 Aircraft
Following the successful completion of electronic parts production of the Self Protection System for the Hellenic Air Force F-16 aircraft, INTRACOM Defence Electronics was awarded a new $1,6 million contract by NORTHROP GRUMMAN for the production of electronic parts for the Radar Warning Receiver of Self Protection Systems for F-16 aircraft procured by a third country.
The program will be completed in 12 months and is a continuation of the excellent and long-standing cooperation between the two companies in self protection systems and radars, which are related not only to Hellenic Ministry of Defense programs but to the international market as well.
This cooperation meets the target and the anticipation which had been set, since the beginning of the cooperation between the two companies in the field of electronic systems in aerospace applications, for the expansion of their cooperation in other international projects.
Meanwhile, it consolidates INTRACOM Defense Electronics' appreciation and trust by the leading international manufacturers in the defense field, and indicates the sound potential for allocation of additional projects for other countries from NORTHROP GRUMMAN.
