In response to a newspaper article dated 11/12/2009, the MYTILINEOS Group denies categorically the references made to the expression of interest by the Group for the acquisition of Hellenic Shipyards S.A., which was allegedly was also communicated to Defence Minister Mr Venizelos during his meeting with the Group's Chairman Mr Mytilineos.
The recent meeting of Mr Mytilineos with the Defence Minister focused solely on matters that concern the Hellenic Vehicles Industry and its future prospects, as well as those of the Greek defence industry in general.
