In accordance with article 19, paragraph 2, of the Law 3556/2007, "Emporiki Bank of Greece S.A.", announces that the forthcoming Extraordinary General Meeting of its Shareholders, to be held on December 14th, 2009, among other issues, will discuss the amendment of Article 5 of the Bank s Articles of Association regarding "Share Capital - Company s Shares".
