With regard to various publications of the press, "MARFIN INVESTMENT GROUP HOLDINGS SA" ("MIG") hereby announces that, pursuant to article 2 of Decision nr. 5/204/14.11.2000 of the Capital Market Commission's Board of Directors, there have been discussions regarding the sale, from MIG to Olayan Group and Spyros Theodoropoulos in the sector of bread and flour confectionery (former Chipita), of MIG subsidiary "VIVARTIA INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL SOCIETE ANONYME FOR ALIMENTATION PRODUCTS AND CATERING SERVICES" ("VIVARTIA") following completion of the spin-out of VIVARTIA's four sections. MIG will inform investors as soon as there is any information to be announced in accordance with applicable laws.
