INTRALOT BECOMES TECHNOLOGY PARTNER OF SISAL
INTRALOT Group announces that it has signed a contract to provide the Italian lottery and sports betting operator, SISAL S.p.A., with 15.000 terminals and associated services for its extended sales network throughout Italy.
INTRALOT will provide SISAL with 15.000 state-of-the-art microLot terminals that along with the related peripherals will be connected online to SISAL's Central System. MicroLot terminals will be equipped with scanner document reader, while SISAL has the option to utilize in its network the eyeLOT camera reader, based on INTRALOT's innovative Icon Digital Imaging Technology. Moreover, INTRALOT will provide consulting and maintenance services.
SISAL, founded in 1946, is one of the leading gaming operators in the Italian market. It operates two of the most popular games in Italy: SuperEnalotto - with turnover reaching €3.3 billion in 2009 - and Win for Life with turnover of over € 579 million since the product launched on September 29, 2009. The company is operating under the authorization of the Italian State, under the auspices of AAMS, for the management of lottery games, pool games, sport and horse betting, slot machines and consumer services. Currently, SISAL has a 12.3% share of the Italian gaming market. The group's volume of business increased 43% in 2009 reaching €9,4 billion.
