Luxembourg, July 22, 2015 – A consortium that includes INTRASOFT International has been awarded a framework contract of an announced value of 196 million EUR by the European Parliament for the external provision of IT Services – development and maintenance of production Information Systems (ITS14 Lot 3), confirming once again the leading position of INTRASOFT International within the EU administration.

The contract represents one of the largest framework contracts in the EU IT Service Provision domain. INTRASOFT International's participation is 50% of the total budget. The consortium also includes CGI Luxembourg. The project has a 5-year maximum duration.

The scope of the project includes the provision of IT services for the design, consultancy, development, deployment and maintenance of production information systems. It concerns the development of new information systems as well as the tailoring of existing ones. It may also concern integration with other applications. The main delivery places are Luxembourg, Brussels and Strasbourg. Under this framework contract, the consortium will also provide services to a number of other Executive Agencies and Bodies, apart from the European Parliament.

The European Parliament is the institution that represents the citizens of EU Member States and constitutes EU's most important legislative institution.
