The Company GEK TERNA S.A. informs the Investors that by virtue of the Decisions of the Shareholders' General Assembly dated 27/6/2007 and 25/6/2008 regarding the purchase of treasury shares, it has acquired up to date 1,220,923 treasury shares. In compliance with the Decision of the Shareholders' General Assembly dated 12/5/10 and after having taken into consideration the acceptable - by the Capital Market Committee - practice of using the treasury shares as means of payment for the acquisition of shares of another company, on June 9, 2010 our Company proceeded with the transfer, through an OTC transaction, of 992.000 treasury shares at the price of EUR 6 each, thus the whole value of the transaction amounted to EUR 5.952.000, as partial payment of the price for the acquisition by GEK TERNA Group of a total of 15.162.342 shares of the company VIOMAGN S.A.
After the above said transaction, the company now holds 228,923 treasury shares.
