International energy provider VOLTERRA SA, jointly controlled by J&P-AVAX SA and Sorgenia SpΑ, was licenced by Greece's authorities for the supply of 300MW of electric power. The licence has a 25-year duration and may be extended.
VOLTERRA expects to commence power trading operations in 2010.
VOLTERRA pursues its expansion strategy, participating in important energy projects covering the full spectrum of energy production in Greece and the broader SouthEastern Mediterranean region.
