OPAP SA, following today's press article at "Paraskinio" weekly newspaper (p.48), considers useful to clarify the following:
a) The almost daily executed stock transactions by Eurobank EFG Equities A.E.P.E.Y., are carried on behalf of its clients and not Mr. Dimosthenis Archontidis personally.
b) The notification by Eurobank EFG Equities A.E.P.E.Y. to OPAP SA and accordingly, by OPAP SA to the Capital Market Commission, is disclosed precisely because, Mr. Dimosthenis Archontidis is a non-executive Member of the OPAP SA Board (and liable person according to Law 3340/2005), while at the same time he holds a managerial role as a non-executive member of the Eurobank EFG Equities A.E.P.E.Y. Board.
c) Both the disclosed transaction, as well as, Mr. Dimosthenis Archontidis dual corporate status are perfectly legitimate.
