The Boards of Directors of Agricultural Bank of Greece and those of its subsidiaries (100% participation) ATE Cards S.A. and ATE Securities S.A. at their 30.6.2011 sessions decided the commencement of the merger procedure (through absorption) of the above mentioned subsidiaries according to the articles 16, 69-79, and 1-5 of the laws 2515/1997, 2190/1920 and 2166/1993 respectively. In addition, the 30th June 2011 was defined as the date of the transformation of the above entities' financial statements. Moreover, at the same session, the relevant authorization was granted in order the merger contract to be composed and signed. Investors will be notified for the evolution of the procedure through further announcements.
In addition, ATEbank's Board of Directors decided at the above mentioned session, to hire a Business Consultant and to commence a tender procedure in order to sell its participation in SEKAP S.A.
