PRESS RELEASE - IDE: New Export Contracts and High Percentage of Exports to USA

Koropi-Athens, Greece, Nov 03, 2014: Continuing its long and successful participation in the PATRIOT air defense systems as well as in the close-in support PHALANX weapon system, IDE (INTRACOM Defense Electronics) has undertaken two (2) new export contracts in the USA amounting to USD 3 million.

The first concerns subsystems of PATRIOT with consignee the US Army, which will be gradually completed until September 2015.

The second contract is for the production of electronic units of PHALANX of RAYTHEON company, will be gradually completed until March 2016 and fulfills global market requirements.

The new contracts extend the long and successful involvement of IDE in programs of worldwide range, while it is worth noting that IDE's exports of high defense technology products to the USA in 2013, correspond to approximately 5% of the total Greek exports to the USA.
