REGARDING THE NON PARTICIPATION IN PHASE B OF THE TENDER PROCEDURE FOR THE ACQUISITION OF 100% OF THE SHARE CAPITAL OF THE MELITI AND/OR THE MEGALOPOLI DIVESTMENT BUSINESSES

The company under the trade name "ELVALHALCOR HELLENIC COPPER AND ALUMINIUM INDUSTRY S.A." (hereinafter referred to as "ELVALHALCOR”) announces to investors that, pursuant to article 17 par. 1 of Regulation (ΕU) 596/2014 of the European Parliament and the Council of 16th April 2014 and article 2, par. 4 of Decision No 3/347/12.7.2005 of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, and following ELVALHALCORΆs announcement on 21.06.2018, regarding the participation of ELVALHALCOR S.A. in phase A (qualification stage) of the tender procedure for the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of the Meliti and/or the Megalopoli Divestment Businesses, in the context of the 31.05.2018  Invitation to submit an expression of interest which was published by the company “Public Power Corporation S.A.”, ELVALHALCOR finally did not submit an offer for the participation in Phase B of the aforementioned tender procedure.
