National Bank of Greece (NBG), on occasion of relevant publications in the press, informs investors that the procedure for the divestment of a majority stake of NBG in its subsidiary Ethniki Hellenic General Insurance S.A. is still ongoing.

NBG will be proceeding to further announcements on the matter, in accordance with the provisions of the legal and regulatory framework.
