ANNOUNCEMENT  ΟΝ ΤΗΕ ADMISSION TO TRADING

OF THE NEW REGISTERED SHARES

OF THE COMPANY UNDER THE TRADE NAME

“ELVALHALCOR HELLENIC COPPER AND ALUMINIUM INDUSTRY S.A.”

DUE TO CONVERSION OF THE  COMPANY'S SHARES

FROM SHARES TO THE BEARER INTO REGISTERED SHARES

The company under the trade name “ELVALHALCOR HELLENIC COPPER AND ALUMINIUM INDUSTRY S.A.” (hereinafter referred to as  the "Company”) announces to the investment community that, on the 30th of September 2019,  the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company's  Shareholders decided, among other things, the conversion of the Company' s three hundred seventy five million two hundred forty one thousand five hundred eighty six (375.241.586) common shares to the bearer into three hundred seventy five million two hundred forty one thousand five hundred eighty six (375.241.586) common registered shares.

Following the above decision of the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company's  Shareholders,  the Ministry of Development and Investments, with its Decision with ref. no. 106722/21.10.2019 (ΑΔΑ: 97ΔΔ465ΧΙ8-9Υ0), approved the amendment of the relevant article of the Company's Articles of Association.     

The Corporate Actions Committee of the Athens Stock Exchange (ATHEX), in its meeting of 31-10-2019, approved the admission for trading on the ATHEX of the Company's three hundred seventy five million two hundred forty one thousand five hundred eighty six (375.241.586) new shares resulting from the conversion.

In view of the above, 4-11-2019 is set as the last day of trading on the ATHEX of the Company's existing common shares to the bearer. As from the next business day i.e.  5-11-2019, the trading on the ATHEX of the Company's three hundred seventy five million two hundred forty one thousand five hundred eighty six (375.241.586) existing common shares to the bearer will cease in order to have the Company's  three hundred seventy five million two hundred forty one thousand five hundred eighty six (375.241.586) existing common shares to the bearer converted into three hundred seventy five million two hundred forty one thousand five hundred eighty six (375.241.586) common registered shares.

Beneficiaries of the Company's new shares resulting from the conversion  will be the shareholders registered in the Dematerialised  Security System (DSS), on 6-11-2019, with regard to the Company.

The trading on the ATHEX of the Company's all new common registered shares will commence on 8-11-2019. As from the same date, the number of the Company's shares to be traded on the ATHEX will be three hundred seventy five million two hundred forty one thousand five hundred eighty six (375.241.586) common registered shares, with a nominal value of EUR 0.39 each, and the new shares shall have been credited to the shareholders' shares and their securities accounts in the D.S.S., on the trading start date.
