Aegean Airlines announces that Mr. Iakovos Georganas (independent non-executive member) has submitted his resignation from the BoD of Aegean Airlines. Aegean's Board wishes to express its sincere appreciation for the long term valuable contribution of Mr. Georganas to the company's growth and progress.

Mr. Konstantinos Kalamatas was elected from the BoD dated April 5, 2016, as new independent non-executive Board Member, in replacement of the resigned one and for the remainder of its term. Mr. Kalamatas is a retired Hellenic Air Force Lieutenant General commanding many years of flight experience and a broad knowledge in operational aviation issues. The replacement will be announced in the forthcoming General Assembly of the shareholders according to the procedures provided for in the Company's Articles of Incorporation and relevant law.
