First Half 2016 Financial Results
The EL.TECH. ANEMOS Group of companies announces its financial results for the period January 1st to June 30th 2016, in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (I.F.R.S.).
The consolidated turnover amounted to Euro 22.1 million compared to Euro 19.2 million during the same period of 2015, increased by 15.1%, due to increased installed capacity.
Consequently, EBITDA amounted to Euro 16.0 million, compared to Euro 14.5 million for the same period of 2015, while EBIT amounted to Euro 11.2 million, compared to Euro 10.6 million for the 1st half of 2015. EBITDA and EBIT margins were decreased from 75.4% to 72.3%, and from 55.4% to 50.5% respectively.
Consolidated profit after tax (net profit) amounted to Euro 5.7 million, compared to Euro 4.6 million during the corresponding period of 2015, of which the attributable amount to the parent company is Euro 5.4 million, compared to Euro 4.3 million in the 1st half of 2015.
Consolidated net profit per share amounted to Euro 0.0655 compared to Euro 0.0515 for the same period of 2015.
Consolidated net debt (total loans minus cash, cash equivalents and restricted deposits, financial assets held to maturity) decreased to Euro 117.1 million, compared to Euro 123.2 million on December 31st 2015.
In reference to the parent company, the total turnover amounted to Euro 20.6 million, compared to Euro 17.5 million in the same 6-month period of 2015. EBITDA amounted to Euro 14.9 million, compared to Euro 13.2 of same period of 2015, while EBIT amounted to Euro 10.4 million, compared to Euro 9.6 million of the first six-month period of 2015. Profits after tax (net profits) amounted to Euro 5.2 million, compared to Euro 3.9 million in the same period of 2015, and net profit per share amounted to Euro 0.0634, compared to 0.0474 for January-June period of 2015.
Total installed capacity of EL.TECH. ANEMOS Group of companies is 207.55 MW, comprising of fourteen (14) wind farms of 200.60 MW, one (1) small hydroelectric project of 4.95 MW and one (1) photovoltaic project of 2 MWp. Today, wind farm projects of a total installed capacity of 57 MW are being implemented. In addition, projects of a total installed capacity of 775 MW are at various stages of the licensing process, 129 MW of which have environmental conditions approval.
