AEGEAN AIRLINES S.A. (The Company) announces, in accordance with the directives of article 8 of Law 3310/2005 with regards to the transparency of public contracts, as amended and supplemented by Law 3414/2005, and the directives of article 1, par. 5 of the Presidential Decree 82/96 with regards to the registration of shares of societes anonymes that participate in public tenders, its intentions to participate and submit offers, both as a Company as well as a member of a consortium with its subsidiary OLYMPIC AIR S.A., in the public tender launched by the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure and Networks under protocol number ΥΠΑ/Δ1/Β/11373/1953/19.5.2016 Invitation to submit offers (published by the Official Journal of the European Union no C197/3.6.2016), and under protocol number ΥΠΑ Δ1/Β/15239/2459/01.07.2016 Announcement of HCAA Governor and in accordance with articles 16, 17 and 18 of EC Regulation No 1008/2008, for the operation starting October 1, 2016 until September 30, 2020 of scheduled air services in 20 routes in accordance with public service obligations.

The submission date is August 3, 2016, or in the case of postponement the new date that will be determined. It is noted that the Tender Invitation does not determine a budget for the operation of PSO routes.

It is hereby further announced that the societes anonymes companies - shareholders of the Company are required in accordance with PD 82/1996 to register their shares up to the ultimate physical person and are requested to produce in due time full details of their shareholders up to the ultimate physical person in accordance with art. 3 paragraph 1 of aforementioned Presidential Decree; non compliance with the above causes deprivation from the right of presence and vote in the General Meeting of the Company, as well as from any kind of rights deriving from their shareholder capacity.
