Τhe Athens Stock Exchange, following the request of BANK OF CYPRUS PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED, announces the suspension of trading of the shares of the aforementioned bank, as of Tuesday, January 10, 2017, in order to ensure the smooth operation of the market, in light of the implementation scheme of arrangement between the Bank of Cyprus Public Company Limited, the Bank's Shareholders and the Bank of Cyprus Holdings Public Limited Company (BOC Holdings).

In addition, as of January 9, 2017, 5:30 p.m., the following will not be executed: off exchange transfers, transfers between the ATHEX and the CSE and vice versa, transfers between operators, transfers from operators to the special investor account and vice versa, and OTC transactions with trade date after January 9, 2017, except if the latter are required for the settlement of stock exchange transactions carried out until and including January 9, 2017.
