ANNOUNCEMENT

Election of new member of the Board of PPC S.A. in place of a resigned member. Formation in a body of BoD of PPC S.A.

The Board of Directors of Public Power Corporation S.A., at its meeting held on Monday, January 9, 2017, elected Mr. Dimitrios Vasilakis as independent non-executive member, in place of Mr. Vassilis Hatziathanasiou who resigned as of 23.12.2016, for the remaining term of office, namely until 10.07.2019. Furthermore, the Board of Directors decided the appointment of Mr. Georgios Bitzas as Non-Executive Member of the Board, representative of the Economic and Social Council of Greece.

Following the above, the new composition of the Board of Directors is as follows:

• Emmanouil Panagiotakis, Mechanical-Electrical Engineer, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer, Executive Member. Term of Office until 07.04.2018.

•   Georgios Andriotis, Civil Engineer, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, Independent – Non-Executive Member. Term of Office until 10.07.2019.

•    Panagiotis Alexakis, Economist/ Professor at theUniversityofAthens, Independent-Non-Executive Member. Term of office until 17.12.2018.

•  Demetrios Vassilakis, Mechanical Engineer, Consultant, Independent – Non-Executive Member. Term of Office until 10.07.2019.

•   Aris Vatalis, Technician, employee of PPCS.A., Non-Executive Member. Term of office until 17.12.2018

•    Pantelis Karaleftheris, employee of PPCS.A., Employees' Representative, Non-Executive Member. Term of office until 05.06.2019.

•    Kyriakos Maggos, Mechanical Engineer, employee of PPCS.A., Consultant, Non-Executive Member. Term of office until 10.07.2019.

•   Georgios Bitzas, Economist, employee of PPCS.A., Non-Executive Member. Term of Office until 28.12.2019.

•   Christos Papageorgiou, Mining and Metallurgical Engineer, Consultant, Independent – Non-Executive Member. Term of office until 10.07.2019

•   Lazaros Stathakis, Chemical Engineer, Consultant, Executive Member. Term of office until 10.07.2019.

•   Nikolaos Fotopoulos, employee of PPCS.A., Employees' Representative, Non- Executive Member. Term of Office until 10.07.2019.
