Press Release: WiSPR to be deployed in Armored Vehicles of the Lithuanian Army
Koropi, September 07, 2016: IDE (INTRACOM Defense Electronics) received an order from NSPA (NATO Support and Procurement Agency) for WiSPR intercommunication systems with initial value 1.3 million Euro.
The systems will be deployed in different types of armored vehicles of the Lithuanian Army. The Lithuanian Army will be the 6th NATO user of the vehicular communications system WiSPR (Wideband Intercom & Secure Packet Radio). Program deliveries will be implemented within 2017.
WiSPR is a state-of-the-art digital intercommunication system with leading performance in vehicular noise reduction and versatile system architecture, capable of adapting to a variety of operational requirements. The system is designed and produced by IDE in Greece and it is characterized by its reduced logistics footprint, reliability and ease of use.
