Peania, October 22, 2015 – The second and last pilot phase of the new integrated IT system of the Hellenic Labour Inspectorate (S.EP.E), a 3.6 million EUR project -currently being implemented by INTRASOFT International- is about to be successfully completed.

The scope of this project is to upgrade S.EP.E.'s audit cycle, to support its redesigned and upgraded administrative procedures and to provide advanced electronic services to employees, businesses and the general public. In this context, the ESKORT Compliance Solution will be the basic tool in supporting S.EP.E.'s efforts to enhance its audit capabilities. By using data from the existing IT systems of S.EP.E (ERGANI), the Social Security Organization (IKA), the Manpower Employment Organization (OAED) and the Ministry of Finance (TAXIS), the new system will support and facilitate the work of Labour Inspectors.

The project, which is funded by the Operational Program "Digital Convergence", is currently in pilot operation and is expected to be completed before the end of 2015. All employees and employers in Greece will be able to transact with S.EP.E. through the new portal, which will reduce the administrative burden and improve the quality of the offered services. At the same time, the use of these technological tools will help S.EP.E optimize its internal procedures, reduce its operating costs, and conduct its audit and advisory work more effectively.

To mark the completion of the pilot phase, S.EP.E. is organizing two workshops that will be held on 26/10/15 at Divani Caravel Hotel in Athens and on 04/11/15 at Makedonia Palace Hotel in Thessaloniki. During these workshops, the new integrated IT system, its key subsystems, the new electronic services provided through the www.sepenet.gr portal, as well as the benefits for employees and employers will be presented to interested parties who directly or indirectly deal with the S.EP.E. and wish to learn more about the new opportunities offered through this new system.
