Luxembourg, December 17, 2015 – The team that manages the EU project, NUPS II has been selected as the Team of the Year 2015 for Day-to-Day Delivery at the DIGIT Awards in a ceremony in Brussels on December 15, organized by the European Commission - Directorate General for Informatics (DG DIGIT). This year's competition attracted 12 entries for the Team of the Year for Project Delivery category and 13 entries for the Day-to-Day Delivery category. DIGIT Awards serve as an active platform for DIGIT teams to share their stories about how they have worked together to achieve great results as well as how they organize their daily agendas to make things work.

The INTRASOFT International consortium was awarded this framework contract of potential estimated value of 25 million EUR in the area of Managed Services by the European Commission - Directorate General for Informatics (DG DIGIT) in late 2014. It entails the provision of services in the area of information and communication technology (ICT) for managing corporate user proximity services (NUPS II) over the next six years. INTRASOFT International's participation was estimated at 12.5 million EUR. The value could increase if additional services are commissioned by the Commission.  The consortium's leading partner is ATOS SA/NV.

INTRASOFT International provides infrastructure support services for the Commission Electronic Mail System, the operation, management and evolution of the Video Conference systems, the IP-based telephony systems, as well as for all the activities related to accessing the available Commission systems remotely. The organization consists of a Central Service Desk -available 24/7- and support groups each specialized in a specific domain. This service liaises with other Commission services to provide a 360 degree support to the end users.
