Announcement of regulated information under Law 3556/2007: Notification of change in participation percentage (Correct Repetition)

MYTILINEOS SA (the “Company”) in accordance with the articles 14 and 21 of Law 3556/2007, decision No. 1/434/2007 and circular No. 33 of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission and following the notification received from the shareholder Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited («Fairfax») on September 15, 2017, announces that:

On September 12, 2017, due to sale, the aggregate voting rights that Fairfax holds in the Company indirectly, through controlled undertakings, fell below the minimum threshold 5% of the total voting rights in the Company, from previous 5.02%. In particular, on September 12, 2017 certain subsidiaries & controlled undertakings of Fairfax sold common shares with voting rights issued by the Company to Eurolife ERB General Insurance S.A. and Eurolife ERB Life Insurance S.A.

Although Fairfax consolidates both Eurolife ERB General Insurance S.A. and Eurolife ERB Life Insurance S.A., these companies are not considered “controlled undertakings” by Fairfax under law 3556/2007. Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited is not a “controlled undertaking” of any person, as “controlled undertaking” is defined in law 3556/2007.
