Answer to the Capital Market Commission

Following a question by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, regarding articles in both daily and electronic press, for an “agreement” with the EU Competition Authority, concerning the sale of PPC's lignite units, it is clarified that there is a convergence between the Greek Authorities and the Directorate General for Competition (DG Comp), on the lignite capacity to be divested (that is Meliti I unit and the license for the construction of the Meliti II unit as well as Megalopolis III & IV units), but there is no final agreement yet.
