Announcement of Significant Event

ELLAKTOR SA wishes to inform investors that the settlement decision of the Hellenic Competition Committee, by which a fine of EUR 38,495,453.00 was imposed on its subsidiary AKTOR SA, in the context of an investigation on public infrastructure project tenders from previous years, was communicated today on 3 August 2017. Please note that the Company had already formed a relevant provision amounting to EUR 40 million in its relevant financial statements for 2016 in respect of this fine.

Despite the above unfair decision, AKTOR SA is carrying on with its activities smoothly, in the interests of the Group, its shareholders and Greece itself, aiming to complete a number of important projects as well as projects that are co-financed by the EU, thus securing thousands of jobs.

Finally, it should be stressed that the above decision of the Hellenic Competition Committee has not evidenced any infringement on the part of the companies of the ELLAKTOR SA and AKTOR CONCESSIONS SA.
