Announcement of regulated information under Law 3556/2007: Notification of change in participation percentage

MYTILINEOS SA (the “Company”) in accordance with the articles 14 and 21 of Law 3556/2007, decision No. 1/434/2007 and circular No. 33 of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission and following the notification received from the shareholder Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited («Fairfax») on September 15, 2017, announces that:

On September 12, 2017, due to sale, the aggregate voting rights that Fairfax holds in the Company indirectly, through controlled undertakings, fell below the minimum threshold 5% of the total voting rights in the Company. In particular, on September 12, 2017 certain subsidiaries & controlled undertakings of Fairfax sold common shares with voting rights issued by the Company to the subsidiaries Eurolife ERB General Insurance S.A. and Eurolife ERB Life Insurance S.A.
