INFORM is implementing the i-bank payband of National Bank

INFORM, a member of the AUSTRIACARD Group, implemented the innovative i-bank payband Visa, a product of National Bank of Greece, which launches a new way of contactless transactions in the Greek market.

Having the same functionality as a prepaid card, i-bank payband Visa is a wristband made of waterproof material, which is available in many colors with an embedded 'contactless chip' and allows payments to any POS, with the same security that cards provide, replacing cash or wallet.

This chip technology is an innovation of AUSTRIACARD and the manufacture took place at the Vienna plant, while the process was completed at the Personalization Center of INFORM in Koropi.

The General Manager at National Bank of Greece Mrs. Nelly Tzakou-Lampropoulou stated that “with the strong support of INFORM we achieved to be the first bank to present this innovative way of payments in the Greek market. Within a short time, INFORM was able to implement a complicated project and help us provide our customers with an innovative, handy and attractive product to make their purchases.”
