Announcement pursuant to Law 3556/2007

MYTILINEOS S.A. (the “Company”) pursuant to the provisions of Law 3556/2007 (article 3 par. 1 p(bb) and article 21) and Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council on market abuse, announces that:

1)    EUROLIFE ERB General Insurance S.A., a legal entity closely associated with Mr. Wade Burton, non-executive member of the Board of Directors of the Company, according to its notification towards the Company dated 13.09.2017, bought on September 12th 2017, 178,195 common shares of the company of a total value of Euro 1,498,619.95.

2)    EUROLIFE ERB Life Insurance S.A., a legal entity closely associated with Mr. Wade Burton, non-executive member of the Board of Directors of the Company, according to its notification towards the Company dated 13.09.2017, bought on September 12th 2017, 1,686,000 common shares of the company of a total value of Euro 14,179,260.00.

To fully inform the investing public, it is also announced that a) CRC Reinsurance Limited sold on September 12th 2017, 1,237,681 common shares of the Company of a total value of Euro 10,408,897.21, b) Northbridge General Insurance Corporation sold on September 12th 2017, 478,735 common shares of the Company of a total value of Euro 4,026,161.35 and c) Federated Insurance Company of Canada sold on September 12th 2017, 147,779 common shares of the Company of a total value of Euro 1,242,821.39.

The aforementioned companies CRC Reinsurance Limited, Northbridge General Insurance Corporation, Federated Insurance Company of Canada, EUROLIFE ERB General Insurance S.A. and EUROLIFE ERB Life Insurance S.A. are subsidiaries of Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited.
