Koropi, Greece, March 1^st, 2017: IDE (INTRACOM Defense Electronics) after an international bidding process which brought together companies from the ten (10) countries participating in the ESSM consortium, has won the contract for the design and development of electronic units for the Block 2 improved version of the surface-to-air ESSM missile (Evolved SeaSparrow Missile).

The amount of the agreement is 5.6 million dollars, while there are reasonable prospects for participation of IDE in the production and support phases of the missile.
