TERNA S.A. is the first Greek company to acquire experience certificate for High Rise

TERNA S.A., a 100% subsidiary of GEK TERNA Group, has successfully completed the construction of the Al Rayyan complex in Sharjah, UAE, for the interest of the Royal Family.

The Al Rayyan complex totaling ​​250,000 m² of built up area, consists of a seven-storey shopping center, three (3) towers of 41 floors each and two underground parking lots.

Two of the towers are residential with more than 500 apartments and are 157.5 meters high, while the third one will only house offices and its height goes beyond 159 meters.

The successful completion of the specific project makes TERNA S.A. the first and only Greek technical company to acquire experience certification for HIGH RISE Building.

It is worth noting that currently TERNA S.A. has five projects under construction in the Middle East Region, budgeted at EUR 430 million approximately.

GEK TERNA Group's current construction backlog reaches approximately EUR 2 billion.
