The Athens Stock Exchange and FTSE Russell note that the recent international book-building and domestic public offering had an exceptional impact to the market capitalization of the company «PIRAEUS FINANCIAL HOLDING S.A.» consequent to the issuance of the new shares.  To ensure the appropriate index composition at the June 2021 FTSE/ATHEX semi-annual review - which is conducted based on information available on the last business day of April - the market capitalization of «PIRAEUS FINANCIAL HOLDING S.A.», for the purposes of the June semi-annual review, will incorporate the shares issued during the equity offerings.

The Athens Stock Exchange and FTSE Russell also note that the new shares start trading on Friday 07 May 2021.

In addition, according to the Index Ground Rules the investability weight (Free Float) of the company's shares will change from 39% to 47% effective from the session of Tuesday 11 May 2021.

The change will affect the composition of the following indices:

  • ATHEX Composite Price Index
  • ATHEX Total Return Composite Index
  • FTSE/ATHEX Large Cap Index
  • FTSE/ATHEX Market Index
  • FTSE/ATHEX? CSE Banking Index
  • FTSE/ATHEX Banks
