Strong growth for Unibios Holdings in the first three quarters of 2022.

The company Unibios Holdings SA, following a request from the Capital Market Committee, informs the investing public about the fundamental financial figures of the 3rd quarter of the fiscal year 2022, as well as the developments in its activity.

Consolidated Sales during the 3rd quarter of 2022 amounted to Euro 2,468 thousand compared to Euro 1,615 thousand during third quarter of 2021. For the first three quarters of 2022, consolidated sales amounted to Euro 5,993 thousand against Euro 4,737 thousand during the corresponding period of the fiscal year 2021 showing an increase of 26.5%.

The consolidated Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) in the 3rd quarter of 2022 amounted to Euro 348 thousand compared to Euro 124 thousand in the 3rd quarter of 2021. For the nine-month period up to 30/9/2022 the EBITDA amounted to Euro 754 thousand against Euro 535 thousand during the corresponding period of the fiscal year 2021 showing an increase of 40.9%.

Finally, consolidated Earnings Before Interest and Taxes (EBIT) in the 3rd quarter of 2022 amounted to Euro 280 thousand compared to Euro 19 thousand in the 3rd quarter of 2021. For the nine-month period up to 30/9/2022 EBIT amounted to Euro 482 thousand compared to Euro 249 thousand during the corresponding period of the fiscal year 2021, showing an increase of 96.4%.

For the year 2022, Unibios estimates that, under normal conditions, sales and EBITDA will be at higher levels than the previous year. This follows from the fact that the total value of the not yet invoiced orders accepted by the Watera Group companies for the delivery of new water treatment systems within the 4th quarter of 2022 and the 1st quarter of 2023 amount to approximately 7.6 million Euro. It is noted that this amount does not include the expected revenues of the Watera companies from after sales activities as well as any new orders with delivery within this period. Furthermore, the Balance Sheet accounts on 30/9/22 accordingly reflect the increase of sales in the framework of the new orders mentioned above.

Finally, the company estimates that the energy crisis and the conflict in Ukraine will not affect materially the financial figures of the company that keep improving due to the strong world-wide demand for water processing systems.
