GEK TERNA S.A., in response to a relevant question of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission on press reports regarding a sale agreement of its' natural gas unit HERON I, informs the investment community that no relevant agreement has been concluded.

GEK TERNA S.A. has highlighted for years the problem of meeting the energy needs of Crete and has submitted timely proposals for the solution to the competent authorities, with a view to ensuring the energy security of Crete in a competitive and more environmentally friendly way.

In this context, GEK TERNA S.A. participates in this period as well in the effort to find the best solutions to solve the problem.
