Supplementary information on the HELEX Q1 2008 published financial statements
22 May 2008 - HELEX publishes the following supplementary information from section "Additional data and information" from "SUMMARY FINANCIAL DATA AND INFORMATION FOR THE PERIOD 1.1.2008 - 31.3.2008 (HCMC Resolution 6/448/11.10.2007) that were published on 14.5.2008 in the "NAFTEMPORIKI" newspaper:In particular, the provisions that were recognized until 31.3.2008 are broken down as follows:
a) Group:
Provisions for employee compensation €1,782 thousand
Claims in litigation €4,019 thousand
Other provisions €812 thousand
b) Company:
Provisions for employee compensation €904 thousand
Claims in litigation €4,019 thousand
Other provisions €361 thousand
In addition, note 10 paragraph 3 clarifies that the goodwill is not recognized and is considered a post-balance sheet event because the decision to purchase has not yet been taken by the BoD of NBG. However, the buildings are included in the balance sheet in the account "Non current assets earmarked for sale."
The abovementioned supplementary information is provided to inform investors, and is available in the published Financial Statements that have been posted on the website of the Company and Athens Exchange. As such, they do not, in any way, alter that published data.
