Athens, Greece, April 09, 2013: INTRACOM Defense Electronics (IDE), the largest defense electronic and communication systems manufacturer in Greece, further extends its cooperation with Raytheon. The new $ 18 mil contract with Raytheon is to manufacture subsystems for the combat-proven air and missile PATRIOT defense system for a third country and is scheduled to be completed by April 2015.

 It is worth mentioning that the value of export contracts, signed since IDE's establishment in 2006, exceed € 320 mil. These achievements reward the exports-oriented strategy of IDE and confirm its competitiveness in the international environment, elevating IDE to an important export component of our country.
