TERNA signs a contract with PPC for the “Ptolemaida V” power plant

GEK TERNA S.A. announces that its 100% subsidiary TERNA SA, signed a contract with PPC for the construction of the lignite power plant “Ptolemaida V”.

The contract was signed on the 9th of March, 2013 and was approved by PPC's Shareholders General Assembly on the 29^th of March, 2013.

TERNA will build a high standard 660 MW lignite power plant in the city of Ptolemaida. The project's budget is 1,4 bn. Euro.

After signing this project, TERNA's backlog has reached the amount of 3,1 bn. Euro.
